About this blog..

This is a blog that I started in April 2006, just after I first put on my bogu (kendo armour). It collects the advices given by more experienced kendo practitioners as well as those from my own experiences. Both technical and the mental aspects of kendo are written in the blog. I hope someone will find them useful or interesting at least!

Drained

This morning before I went to work I told my dad, who happens to be here for a visit, "Okay, I'm going to the battle field!" Gosh, how long had I fought from the morning at work until the end of the evening kendo training!

My body was drained out with energy after the second round of kirikaeshi; and my mind was drained out in the second hiki-waza-keiko.

This is however a good bridge to the training in Prague!

Very nice blog and I can actually visualize how hard you were training.

I heard that Germany has very good and solid kendo foundation. You must have some great teachers, too.

It is nice to see a person like you telling the world how great kendo is. I also like your other blog, Kendo and Tao. I shall come back and read it thoroughly.

Thank you!

Thanks for the compliments Hiro!

Yes, here we have great sempais who always inspire me to train hard!

One of the most amazing things I find in kendo is that it brings people together across worlds! (And so is internet of course :))

ivan,

Very nice. It is good to have role models around. One of the problems we are facing here (where I live) is a lack of teachers. As far as I know we only have 1 5th dan (myself) and one 6th dan in this state in US.

I could not agree more. Kendo and Internet is really good to get people together. Like this :)
