I'...Hi Stelios, thanks for your very kind comments. I'm glad you find things useful and inspiring in my blog. In kendo and many kinds of martial arts it is very important to kind a good mentor, and take his words almost religiously. Obviously great teachers aren't always around, especially in Europe. So when the chance comes please make sure you grab it! Before then it is also important to make yourself ready for it I think - meaning the etiquette, means to communicate, lots of cultural understanding and don't be shy. Then you can make a good first impression, which may be the start of very thing.

I hope one day we'll meet in one of those seminars!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03640309493572980574noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26738669.post-25409249771031034462009-02-09T12:08:00.000+01:002009-02-09T12:08:00.000+01:00Dear Ivan,i feel the need to thank you for sharing...Dear Ivan,
i feel the need to thank you for sharing with us (especially with me), ur trip in Taiwan and Japan.i have learn many things from ur details...i saw all ur fotos and i saw all ur videos...u r so lucky man...
i told u that i feel ur blog as i am writing my thoughts inside. many times i have the same questions and problems about kendo. and many times i found solutions from u.
My greek sensei (3d Dan), is a sensei that want from us "tadashii kendo" and gives all his power, expirience and persistence in that. the mostmember of my dojo, have visit Japan and especially the Tsukuba university. there they met many important sensei's, and all they said to them, teach and play proper kendo...so i can say that i am lucky to have these member teaching me...
the last discovery that i made for my self and for kendo, is that i participate in kendo seminars, or tournaments, not only for practice with big sensei's, but also becose i have the need to meet new people that like kendo, to share opinions, advises and make new friends.
